Sweet Pepper "Quadrato D'Asti Rosso".
A very sweet and fleshy mid-early red bell pepper. Vigorous plant, 60-90 cm tall. Fruits are large and four-lobed (blocky).
GROWING TIPS: Preventing Flower & Fruit Drop.
1. Temperature & Humidity.
Ovaries drop if the temperature falls below +15°C or rises above +35°C, or if the soil/air is too dry.
2. Pruning.
Remove all suckers and flowers up to the first fork (branching point). Otherwise, the fruits will be small.
3. Seed Treatment.
Heating seeds in hot water (+50°C) in a thermos for 2 hours speeds up germination. Disinfection in a dark purple potassium permanganate solution (20-30 min) is also beneficial.
Warning: Do not dry seeds near heaters — they will lose viability.
4. Planting & Feeding.
Plant seedlings slightly deeper than they grew in pots to encourage adventitious roots. Fertilize in small portions: 6-8 times per season.
To prevent flower drop: Spray with 0.5% urea solution (50 g per 10 L of water) during flowering.
5. Hygiene (Potato link).
Peppers and potatoes share common diseases. Do not walk from a potato patch to peppers without changing shoes, and disinfect tools.
6. Watering.
Water frequently (16-20 times per season) but not heavily. Use warm water only! Cold water (+10+12°C) causes ovaries to drop.

HACK: Seedlings in Eggshells.
Use eggshells instead of plastic cups.
How to: Carefully break the pointed top of a raw egg, empty it, rinse — your "pot" is ready. When transplanting into the ground, simply crush the shell slightly with your hand. Roots remain undamaged, and the transplant is stress-free.
